God blogging seems like a chore sometimes.

Anyways, a quick recap of recent uninteresting events:

I am going back to school as of August 15. I'm so excited to have something to do with my time, I wish it involved making money, but my visa doesn't allow it so this is the next best thing. I'm starting with general studies at San Francisco City College with an intent to transfer to San Francisco State University and pursue a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting. Yup, it's taken twelve years out of high school (sweet lord) to realise that I like numbers. Who knew.

Mike and I are going to LA to visit our friend Sanna in a couple weeks. I'm excited about getting out of here for a weekend (despite just moving here) and seeing summer. As Kim and my sis can attest to, summer in San Francisco is surprisingly cold.

I finally went to see a therapist last week. She was very helpful and figured out that I blame myself for a lot of what happened with Lily and I need to forgive myself before I can move on. Sounds simple and obvious enough, but seeing clearly when you're in a horrible situation is not always easy, and having someone else point it out can be immensely helpful. I'm not there yet but at least I know why I can't get out of this loop.
