Taking care of business
Ah, my first day off. Work is going well, it's relatively easy and although it is a bit of a disorganzied shit show I'm pretty much up to speed. I think I may even lease my first apartment tommorow which means a $55 bonus for me.
Anyways, Mike, sweetheart that he is brought me stargazer lillies and champagne for my first day of work on Saturday. We then went to Cafe Intermezzo for cheesecake and to see The Descent. Sweet lord. That is the scariest movie I have ever seen, and if you like horror movies you will love this one. It lives up to the hype people.
The birthday is in two days. Am I dreading it? Hells no! Not to sound smug, but I'm pretty pleased with my life right now so it's hard to be freaked that I'm turning 29. I have a job again, my relationship kicks ass, I'm in the best shape I've been in since highschool, I have a supportive and fab family, and I have great friends both here and at home. Besides, Mike and I (and whoever else wants to come!) are going to a warm and sunny tropical location for my 30th next year so I'm already looking forward to it.
